Do you play in your daily life? What says “playtime” to you?
This question is like asking if you eat bread, of course I play in my daily life. What I want to blog about is a life without play.
And there are people like this, who’s only thing is work, and money is the only thing that makes them happy. Maybe you’re one of them reading. But i want you to imagine you’re on your way back from the New Year’s party and someone didn’t have a designated driver. In the time it takes you to blink your eyes you no longer can work. What do you do to entertain yourself now that you can’t work?
I ask this question to a lot of people, and the most common response is “I’d kill myself” no you won’t. If your only plan for disability is killing yourself you should do it before you get disabled, because your life is only worth living if you’re in perfect health, and if you can’t assign meaning beyond your productivity your life is pretty meaningless to begin with. So why don’t you just kill yourself before you become disabled?
