Something on your “to-do list” that never gets done.

Let me start this off with the context to I have severe pelvic nerve damage and walking is not impossible, but i need to save my ability to walk on pretending i’m more able bodied than I am. Truth is I stand for less than 2% of my day, including playing outside.

Cleaning is a bending nightmare for me, but i’m finding it much easier to clean this small space to be presentable to others being in it with me. I had a cat in my room the other day and my room was so not set up for that and the cat was everywhere on my stuff, and it gave me a 4 hour autistic sensory meltdown. I cleaned my room since then, but the cat still found food on my bed to eat, I need a cleaning service.

And I get a cleaning service through Humana. Cleaning services aren’t just some bougie thing. Things like “Quick, clean the house before the cleaning lady gets here” is bougie, but “I’m depressed because it’s dirty around me and there’s nothing I can do about it, I need help” is not bougie. I qualify for this cleaning service because i’m life long disabled.

Talk with an insurance agent who doesn’t call you first or have any special interests for giving you one policy for getting that service if you’re on medicare. Do it while we still have medicare.
