Stardew Valley Arch

If I won the lottery i’d buy a farm and grow nopal permaculture, among other plants, but a field of nopal is my dream. I’d invite the people I love and care about to live there so we can escape living like we do. It’d be a sanctuary, and we’d sell to the farmer’s market without worry about how profitable we are. A farm with no pressure to make the farm profitable would make me happy beyond my wildest dreams.

But of course the lotto money won’t last forever, but it’ll last long enough for our crops and plants to mature. 5-10 years of nopal fields would be very fruitful if planted properly from the start. I’d work the lands and even if that makes the money stretch for a few more years that would be sustainable.

We’d have chickens 🐓 and maybe a cow. We’d spread grass seeds around for the cow that will live free range in a large area she can graze in. We may get a bull for the cow so wet can have cow bébés and milk. We’d have a hedgehog that will have his own room in the house with tons of enrichment.

Waking up before the sun comes up and working the land is a quality of life increase I wish you could understand. You live a far better life than me if becoming a farmer is a decrease in your quality of life.
