The greatest gift that can be given to me and the greatest gift I won’t turn down are two separate things. The greatest thing you could give me to improve my life and make me happy and form a long lasting bond with me is to pay for me to move and live on a farm. There’s 3 people on this entire planet i’d accept that gift from, I don’t think any rich philanthropists reading this should attempt to make that happen, as I will turn it down without a previous family-strength bond with you. That also means I’d turn this offer down from aunts and cousins, you’re seriously pushing my boundaries to even offer this without being that level of close to me.

What can the average friend get me that would be the greatest gift that I would accept? For greatest amount of quality of life and most amount of happiness and greatest amount of making me closer to you? Let’s just say don’t get me a live animal unless I ask for it. If you get me a cat or dog i’ll put it up for adoption for $25. If you get me a plant i’ll injure myself taking care of it, which will decrease my quality of life. I’m a type of Asexual called a Plushum, which means I experience attraction towards stuffed toys. I know exactly how much thought you put into a stuffed animal gift by the gift itself. If you get me a teddy bear I know you didn’t bother to ask what types of stuffed toys I like (I actually hate Teddy-style.) Build a bear is not a lot of thought, even if a lot of effort, as you clearly know nothing about me by doing that. The next best you can do is get an animal I like, and I don’t expect the average friend to do better than this. My close friends I’ll give an example of one gift that made me cry that was $25: the Wild Republic Red Wolf (small) is the $25 tier reward for paying lawyers to keep the red wolf on the endangered list, like maybe 15-20 years ago. That $25 wolf is the most thoughtful gift i’ve ever received from a friend in my life. But maybe my best friend getting me aWii for Christmas that we hacked together was pretty sick and radical, dudez.
